Even though she's not usually allowed to SHED in the living room and dining room -
She's snuck in to show you around a bit:
I'm loving the dried Hydrangeas tucked into a basket
in the dining room..
This sweet little cranberry glass birdie is perched
on a "nest" of dried flowers and satin ribbon.
He's sitting on a Lenox cake plate we got as a wedding gift
over 30 years ago.
I've added pops of avocado green this year.
The suede runner on the sideboard and
the vintage windowpane checked linen
are fun against all my purples and lavenders!
I changed things up a little in the living room by moving
Mommy's 66 year old Avocado green chair over to where
the wingback chair was.
The Ethan Allen Wingback is taking a turn up in my
craftroom so I have a place to cozy up and do my hooking:
You can catch a glimpse of the wrap around porch through
the living room's french door..
I'm working on more jewel toned hooky pillows for the couch,
got just one done so far though!
More from that vintage green linen set is
in the Living room. The folded cloth is topping
the old dresser and another few of the napkins are on the tables:
That's my Tinta's picture. The linens were hers from
a resort they owned in the Catskills
during the depression years!
The Cranberry glass bottle was hers, too.
I'm still tweeking the mantel -
so I'll be back in a few days with more pictures!
